German black metal, one of my favourite scenes. One of my favourite german artists (and music artists in general) is Andreas Bettinger aka B.S.o.D. (Black Son of Darkness). The amount of his projects, his style, the atmosphere his music creates is just pure gold! And in my very honest opinion, Mayhem or Darkthrone compared to any of his projects (especially Grausamkeit (which i think was his first project) and Corneus) is nothing! Andreas is a german version of Varg Vikernes, except the fact that Varg is a clown on YouTube today and Andreas is still doing his thing.
My favourite demo he recorded... hmm... is it even possible to have a favourite demo from him? or a song? All his demos are absolutely great! I haven't listened to all of them, but most. Not only the public stuff but also some of his very forgotten stuff.
I hope Andreas will continue his journey in black metal as long as he can, his newest stuff shows that he's still in form. He's really great on keyboard and other instruments, but especially piano and keyboard... when he starts playing one of them - magic happens.
